Safety Questions Regarding Our Electrical Toys

They are safety considerations to be mindful of when using our Tazzapper and Violet Wand. They both are considered generally safe toys, but you should always practice good judgement and keep safety in mind when using any electrical toy. Each participant should evaluate if they have any medical risk factors that would warrant not using these toys. Please use good common sense and sound judgement.

Never use these toys on:
  1. Anyone that has not given their express consent to be zapped; doing so can be considered a crime and can be prosecuted
  2. Anyone who is pregnant or suspect that they might be
  3. Anyone with a pacemaker or known heart problems. Never use a Violet Wand on anyone with an insulin pump or other electrically operated medical implant.
  4. Do not use these toys near the eyes
  5. Near flammable liquids, gases, including fragrance burners, hand cleaners, alcohol, or any other accelerant
Things to Consider.....
  1. We recommend you keeping these at least 12" away from any metal replacements (i.e. hip, knee, etc.)
  2. If you have any medical condition that would conflict with using e-stim devices like this, discontinue use until you have cleared it with your doctor
The Tazzapper:
  1. We recommend not inserting this into any body orifices (don't ask why we had to include this here); you won't die, but it's just not the best idea
  2. We recommend keeping The Tazzapper away from the neck area since it is a much more sensitive area of the body
  3. The maximum output voltage is: 5v; it's no more output than a static shock
  4. If your Tazzapper stings too much, it's possible the internal governing mechanism could be failing; reach out to us by opening a ticket (button is at the top right) and we will cover this under our lifetime warranty
The Violet Wand:
  1. This toy produces some ozone which breaks down quickly, and the amount produced is well under OSHA/FDA safety guidelines of 0.05 ppm.  You should not however, use a Violet Wand for hours at a time in a small (less than 12×12) space without ventilation.
  2. This toy does not produce anything past a trace amount of UV light, so small in fact, special equipment has to be used to even measure it; UV safety concerns should be no factor here
  3. The Violet Wand is generally safe to be used above the chest; however, do not use near the eyes
  4. Don't let your violet wand get wet during use
  5. Always use a surge protector or GFCI outlet to protect the sensitive circuitry inside; we recommend a portable GFCI for maximum safety
  6. If you have a sensitivity to Ozone, speak to your doctor about how long and how much you should use it, even if at all; it's best to not gamble with your health if you have any concerns; it really depends the severity of your condition which can only be evaluated by a qualified and licensed medical professional
