How Should I Measure My Hand For These Gloves?
This is a common question that we get on our Wolfman claw gloves. This quick read should help you get a better idea of the right size for you the first time. Remember, that we have a product guarantee, so if it's not a good fit, you can return it and we will give you a size that fits you better. We will pay for the shipping label as well.
πGloves are unisex and handmade.
πOur Wolfman Leather Claws are handmade and designed to fit like a second skin. Because they are genuine leather, they will "break in" and mold to your hand over time.
How to Measure:
1. Circumference: Wrap a soft tape measure around your palm, just below the knuckles (do not include your thumb).
2. Length: Measure from the base of your palm (at the wrist) to the very tip of your middle finger.
Note: It also helps to know the measurement of the tip of your middle finger to the base of the middle finger,
when sizing your gloves. Please factor this into your sizing decision.
3. Choose: If you are between sizes, or if your fingers are longer than your hand circumference, then size up one size.
For Example: Your dominant hand circumference measures 8", which corresponds to a Medium size. But your finger to wrist measurement is 8.25" which corresponds to a Large size. We recommend that you choose the Large size.

Other things to consider:
Why is it tight?
Leather should be snug initially. If the finger clips feel off-center,
you can gently rotate the internal malleable clip to align with your
fingertip.
E-Stim Safety Tip:
Ensure the internal clips are snug against your skin. A gap between the
clip and your finger can cause a "bite" or arc. If you feel a sharp
shock, tighten the clip for a smooth, conductive flow.
- When you have worn garden or work gloves, what size tended to fit you the best? Chances are this will be no different.
- Do your hands tend to run smaller or larger than other people? Remember these are only recommendations based on averages, so consider this factor as well.
- Our most common ordered sizes are: Medium and Large.

Tips For Using with E-Stim or Violet Wands:
These gloves work well with our e-stim products and are often sold together. For best performance, here is how you can use these gloves for conductive electro-play with our Violet Wand System:
- Each finger in the claw glove has a malleable clip inside that be shaped around your finger
- Start with the Violet Wand OFF.
- Only when your Violet Wand and holster/body strap are secured (i.e. touching the skin and not obstructed), slowly turn on the power to low and increase gradually; if the power is set too high, you have a higher chance of creating an arc that will shock you
- Make sure each clip is shaped around each of your fingers so that it is snug and secure; not doing this causes a sharper shock to be experienced due to the gap; remember...secure is better and has less of a chance to shock you
- If you are still receiving too much of a shock while wearing these gloves, it means at least one or more fingers are not secured tight enough
- Methodically, test each finger and you will end up finding the one that was not snug; testing with low power, this should not be a problem
- Once you have everything set, gradually increase the power to a level that is comfortable for you and the recipient
